Our Sidewalk Installation Process

Our step-by-step approach ensures lasting results and a clean finish.

Step 1

Site Prep Comes First

We clear out broken concrete, debris, or grass and grade the ground to ensure a solid, even base.

Step 2

Framing and Reinforcement

We install wood forms and, if needed, steel mesh or rebar to help prevent cracking and shifting.

Step 3

Concrete Pouring and Finishing

Once the mix is ready, we pour and smooth it out. For walkways, we use a light broom finish to improve grip without being rough.

Step 4

Curing for Strength

We take care to cure the surface so it sets correctly. You’ll be able to walk on it in 24–48 hours, and it’ll fully cure in about a week.

Sidewalk Upkeep—A Few Tips

Concrete is low maintenance, but these simple steps will help it last longer.

Sweep and Rinse Often

Keeping the surface clear of dirt and debris prevents staining and keeps it looking clean.

Watch for Pooling Water

Make sure downspouts or sprinklers don’t dump water along the sidewalk. Water can erode soil and shift the slab.

Seal Every Few Years

Sealing helps lock out moisture and stains. Plan to do it every 2–3 years for the best results.
